My name
I wrote my name on the tree,
but the time washed it away.
I wrote my name on the road,
but the rain washed it away.
I wrote my name on my hand,
but the soap washed it away.
Today,
I write my name on the birthday card,
and I'll send it to my mother.
I know it would be there forever,
just as the one in my mother's heart.
